What is a Cover Supervisor?

A Cover Supervisor supports schools by managing a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher. You will be responsible for:

• Supervising secondary school students (ages )

• Delivering pre-planned lesson materials across various subjects

• Managing classroom behaviour using school behaviour policies

• Reporting back to teaching staff on student engagement and behaviour

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people (e.g. sports coaching, youth work, tuition)

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• UK school experience is desirable, but not essential

• You must have an Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one before starting work
