Job Title: Systems Engineer Location: Berkshire, UK Salary: £50,000 – £80,000 (depending on experience) About the Role We are working with an exciting space company in the UK to find a System Engineer for their team in Berkshire. This is a permanent role where you’ll help design, build, and manage the full spacecraft system, making sure all parts work smoothly together. You’ll work with engineers across different teams to solve complex problems, test systems, and make sure the spacecraft is safe, reliable, and ready for flight. Key Responsibilities Manage the overall spacecraft system design Make sure all subsystems work together smoothly (power, comms, propulsion, etc.) Support system-level testing and integration Solve technical problems and suggest improvements Work closely with software, mechanical, electrical, and propulsion teams Track system performance and make sure it meets mission goals Help write technical documents, test plans, and reports Required Skills and Experience Degree in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, or a related subject Experience working on complex engineering systems (preferably in space or aerospace) Good understanding of how different spacecraft subsystems interact Experience with testing, integration, or validation Strong communication and teamwork skills Able to think critically, solve problems, and stay organised About Alexander Associates For more than 30 years, Alexander Associates has been committed to recruiting top talent within the engineering sector.
