Foreman (Civils)

Teamforce Labour are actively seeking a Civils Foreman for immediate start in Leiston for a long term position. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supervising civil engineering works, with strong experience in deep drainage operations. Key Responsibilities: Supervision of all site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification Managing site teams, subcontractors, and liaising with site engineers Reading and interpreting drawings and setting out where required Monitoring health & safety, enforcing compliance with RAMS and method statements Daily reporting and progress updates to the site/project manager Coordinating plant and materials for efficient site operations Required Experience & Skills: Extensive experience in deep drainage (including manholes, pipes, and chambers) Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to manage multiple crews and maintain high productivity and quality standards Good understanding of groundworks, excavations, and reinstatement Confident reading construction drawings and planning works ahead Certifications & Training (Essential): SSSTS or SMSTS CSCS (Gold/Black) card First Aid at Work Confined Spaces (preferred) CPCS/NPORS for relevant plant (advantageous) Full UK Driving Licence Benefits: Opportunity for long-term, stable work on a major civils package Work with a well-established contractor  Supportive team environment and career progression opportunities Equal Opportunities Statement: We are an equal opportunities employer.
