Maintenance Plumber Location: Yeovil, Somerset (BA20) Salary: £39,000 + £2,800 shift allowance Shifts: Monday to Friday, rotating weekly: 6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm Contract: Permanent, Full-Time A leading facilities management provider is looking for a skilled Maintenance Plumber to join their on-site team based at the home of British Helicopters in Yeovil. This is a unique opportunity to work across a large and secure campus comprising 98 buildings, all within walking distance. You’ll be one of two engineers responsible for keeping critical systems running smoothly in a highly technical environment. Key Responsibilities: * Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on air handling units, filters, and mechanical systems * Carry out responsive and reactive plumbing and mechanical repairs * Diagnose faults and deliver effective solutions * Work closely with your teammate and report to on-site management Requirements: * F-Gas Cat 1 qualification (essential) * Strong mechanical and plumbing background, ideally in commercial or FM settings * Experience with fault finding and diagnostics * Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently What’s on Offer: * £39,000 base salary plus £2,800 shift allowance * All work based on a single secure campus – no travel between sites * Long-term role with a respected FM company * Opportunities for further training and career development This role is ideal for a qualified plumber looking for a stable, rewarding position in a high-profile environment.
