Working for a well established fast paced manufacturing company Client Details Our client is a well established, high volume, FMCG manufacturing company based in Winsford Description We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee our company's Production, Warehousing & Logistics, Supply Chain, Quality and Health & Safety departments. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing inventory levels, and supervising the work of the department heads. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in manufacturing. As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the manufacturing facility's operations, ensuring quality, profitability, and service delivery. · Ensure the daily manufacturing schedule aligns with customer orders · Coordinate production and logistics to meet monthly targets · Implement efficient processes to optimise productivity and minimise waste · Provide clear communication to the management team about performance and opportunities · Train and support the manufacturing team to ensure growth and accountability · Monitor KPIs and take action to improve performance · Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and innovation · Oversee daily operations across production, warehousing and logistics · Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of operational efficiency. · Supervise and support the department heads, fostering a collaborative work environment. · Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.. Profile · Will have preferably been working in a medium or high speed production / FMCG manufacturing environment · Qualification in Operations Management or related field · Proven experience in Operations Management within manufacturing · Good financial awareness · Strong knowledge of ERP systems · Ability to deliver results to senior management and board level · Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire teams · Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking · Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and lean methodologies · Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and lead teams. · Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Job Offer £65,000 to £70,000 plus bonus and benefits
