Our client, a highly regarded Civil Engineering Contractor based in South Lanarkshire, is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative and driven company working on a mix of rail and civil engineering projects. The company takes pride in its culture of excellence and its longstanding relationships with clients.

Role Overview

As Site Agent, you will be a key leader in the delivery of projects, with responsibility for daily site management and performance. You will:

  • Liaise closely with the main contractor and stakeholders
  • Programme and manage works effectively
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports
  • Oversee project budgets and resource planning
  • Ensure materials are delivered on time and work continuity is maintained
  • Manage on-site teams and subcontractors
  • Uphold strict Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
  • Maintain quality control and assurance procedures
  • Handle all relevant site documentation, administration, and permit requirements

Requirements

You ll bring strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a solid civil engineering background. To be considered, you should have:

  • A relevant qualification in Civil Engineering (HND, HNC, or Degree level)
  • Proven experience as a Site Agent or Site Engineer in civil engineering
  • Prior experience in the rail sector (essential)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  • Valid certifications: CSCS, SMSTS, and PTS
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and travel across Scotland as required
