Location: Slough Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: MPS 1 (ECT Scale) A nurturing and inclusive secondary school in Slough is seeking an ECT who is passionate about SEN to work within its Inclusion Faculty from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach your specialism (e.g., Science, Art, DT, or Food Tech) while also taking a pastoral and intervention-based approach with high-needs students. You’ll work closely with the SENCO and the wider pastoral team, delivering lessons that are carefully adapted to meet learners’ needs and fostering a classroom climate of belonging and high expectations. This School Offers: * Full ECT support with a focus on inclusive practice * A dedicated and experienced SEN team * Small group teaching and co-teaching opportunities * Excellent access to external training and certification (e.g., ASD, SEMH) Key Responsibilities: * Teach your subject specialism with scaffolds for SEND learners * Contribute to IEPs, reviews, and differentiated planning * Run interventions or small classes in literacy/numeracy depending on profile * Collaborate with pastoral leads, families, and external specialists Ideal Candidates Will Have: * QTS (or be completing their training) with strong empathy and adaptability * A subject specialism in a core or practical subject * A belief in personalised learning and inclusive access to curriculum * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
