Field Service Technician

Do you have an interest in faultfinding and fixing mechanical equipment, are you looking for a Monday to Friday role offering the opportunity to develop your skills further whilst receiving on the job training.

My client provides a full aftercare service of their specialist equipment around the UK, due to service demands, they now require a Field Service Technician to join their engineering team in Bristol or close surrounding areas. The successful Field Service Technician will travel to customer sites and will carry out inspections, service and minor repairs to the company s range of equipment.

Field Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Travel to customer sites and carry the service, inspection and minor repair of company equipment.
• Fitting and removal of new and hire equipment.
• Provide support of the company products during the warranty period.
• Completing detailed work records and reports
• Work directly with the Service team and provide daily updates with progress made.
• Assisting in the company workshop if required.

Field Service Technician Requirements:

• Essential that you live within a 20 mile radius of Bristol.
• Possess a mechanical aptitude ideally with a mechanical engineering qualification (although not essential).
• Proven hands on mechanical skills.
• Able to work alone and also as part of a team on occasion.
• Happy to travel on a daily basis.
• Full UK driving licence.

Field Service Technician Benefits:

• Salary is GBP26,000 per annum.
• Guaranteed 6% overtime allowance.
