School Nurse

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a multi form entry primary school in Alum Rock who are looking for a full time School Nurse to start with them in September.

Monday to Friday 8.30am-3.45pm to start in September 2025 for the full academic year. The pay is pro rata term time only.

It is essential that you hold a Nursing degree and can provide your pin OR previous experience in a similar medical role with a First Aid qualification .

Successful Candidates Will
Promote healthy living where appropriate and deliver workshops.
Provide training to teachers on healthcare issues and advise on school health policies.
Safeguard and promote the welfare of children by working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Safeguarding Leads and Social Services in cases of child protection.
Liaise with the SEND to write Educational Health Care Plans (EHC).
Any other duties as deemed necessary by the Headteacher or Senior Leadership Team.
Support children with medical needs such as, but not limited to, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy or mental health problems.
