Senior Learning & Development Specialist


I am sourcing an experienced Senior Learning & Development specialist to join an award-winning HR department. This will be for a 12 month contract based in Birmingham on a hybrid basis.

Senior Learning & Development Specialist Key Responsibilities;

  • Design and deliver skills training, development, and induction programmes
  • Support compliance training and mentoring programmes.
  • Introduce and occasionally deliver training sessions, driving L&D innovation.
  • Assess training needs, recommend interventions, and support professional qualifications.
  • Update the intranet and Learning Management System.
  • Use psychometric tools for L&D purposes and assist with CPD queries.
  • Attend training committee and L&D-related meetings.
  • Occasionally travel to other UK offices.

Senior Learning & Development Specialist Experience Required:

  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar role within professional services.
  • A passion for learning and development.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisation skills.
  • A proactive and positive team player attitude.
  • Flexibility, dedication, and strong service ethic.
  • The ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
