Location: Inverness, Scotland Job Type: Full-time / Part-time (Flexible hours considered) Salary: Competitive, based on experience Global Highland are currently working with their well established client, a trusted name in office solutions across the Highlands. Currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with strong Sage accounting experience to join their close-knit team. About the Role: As the Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the smooth financial operation of the business. Key Responsibilities: * Maintain and update Sage accounts system * Manage sales and purchase ledgers * Prepare VAT returns and submit to HMRC * Bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring * Payroll processing (if experienced) * Liaise with external accountants and assist with year-end preparations * ✅ What We're Looking For: * Proven bookkeeping experience, preferably in a small business * Proficiency in Sage 50 Accounts (or similar Sage software) * Strong attention to detail and organisational skills * Ability to work independently and manage priorities * Good communication skills and a team-player mindset 🌟 Whats On Offer: * Supportive and friendly working environment * Flexible working hours * On-site parking If you're a numbers person with a passion for accuracy and a solid Sage background, we'd love to hear from you.
