Estimator – Stone Cladding Specialist Location: Essex (with 1 day per week working from home) Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 per annum (depending on experience) Contract: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Performance-based bonus, pension, ongoing training & development A well-established industry leader in specialist stone cladding is seeking a talented Estimator to join their pre-construction team. Based in Essex, this subcontractor delivers complex façade packages for Tier 1 main contractors, working on projects ranging from £1m to £30m. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Estimator to join a growing business with strong career progression prospects. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare accurate and competitive tenders for stone cladding packages * Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents * Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing * Support value engineering and risk assessments * Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project handover * Attend client and tender meetings as required Candidate Requirements: * Minimum 2 years’ estimating experience in construction * Must have experience in stone cladding or stonework * Strong understanding of cladding systems and construction methodology * Able to interpret architectural and structural drawings confidently * Proficient in Excel and estimating software * Excellent attention to detail and communication skills What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary of £45,000 – £65,000, dependent on experience * 1 day per week working from home * Performance-based bonus * Company pension scheme * Ongoing training and clear career progression path * Opportunity to work on some of the UK’s most prestigious construction projects
