Senior Estimator

Joinery Estimator Role  Brief Outline   An industry leading contractor in the commercial joinery market requires an experienced Estimator to oversee tender and pricing processes for predominantly high end residential, commercial and hospitality, leisure projects in the London and South East region. The client is looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic individual who will be involved and invested in their various ongoing projects and the overall progress of the company.   About our Client  Our client is a market leading contractor with an office based in the Essex area and working across the London and South East region. As a company, they deliver specialist Joinery, Washroom and Fit out contracts amongst other related areas. They have worked on some of the most prestigious projects in the region over their 20-year history for tier one main contractor and developers.   Their turnover has increased year-on-year and have a large pipeline of work for the year ahead already.   About the Role    They are looking to recruit an experienced Estimator that has the desire to be an integral part of a friendly, close knit commercial team.   Taking new orders and seeing them through to delivery   Providing accurate and detailed price estimates for bespoke joinery and interior finishing items.  Liaising alongside the Project Manager on tender submissions.  Replying to general information requests and technical queries.  Involvement with buying and ordering materials.   Improving efficiency of process from enquiry to proposal.  Providing internal commercial support to the joinery division.  The successful candidate will be working closely with an experienced Estimating Director, as well as fellow management staff based on site.   About the Candidate   In depth knowledge of commercial joinery, interpreting plans, sketches and concepts.  Flexible self-starter with ability to prioritise   Analytical and problem-solving skills   Excellent customer service skills.  Good general IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel.  Points of Appeal   Continual support and training offered   Freedom within the role with a flexibility of working conditions   Competitive salary, package and bonus structure   Company with a full order book for tier 1 clients
