Job Title: Plant Supervisor Location: Reading Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per year Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Schedule: Monday to Friday Overview: We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Plant Supervisor to join our busy manufacturing site in Reading. If you're a confident leader with a background in plant or industrial operations, this could be the next step in your career.   Key Responsibilities: Oversee the safe and efficient operation of machinery Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff on shift Ensure work is carried out to high operational and safety standards Report mechanical issues or breakdowns to the management team Maintain accurate records of plant activity, inventory, and daily logs Assist with the loading/unloading of materials when required Promote a clean, safe, and organised working environment Support site improvements and suggest ideas to boost efficiency Work collaboratively with management to ensure smooth daily operations  Requirements: Previous supervisory experience in a plant, warehouse, or production environment Forklift licence (desired) Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills Comfortable with manual duties and physically fit A solid understanding of site safety and operational compliance A proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving  Benefits: Long-term career development opportunities Supportive and growing team environment How to Apply: If you’re an experienced supervisor ready to take on a new challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
