Building Surveyor

I am seeking a Building Surveyor to join my client on a permanent basis. As the Building Surveyor you will support my client's continued growth in the North East and North West of England, with opportunities to work on a wide range of projects, including Technical Due Diligence and Forensic Surveying commissions, across different sectors. Role: Building Surveyor Location: Northeast & North West Hours: Monday to Friday,40 hours per week Salary: Up to £40,000 Responsibilities * Assist with developing detailed briefs in conjunction with the client and senior colleagues * Carry out site surveys (including measured surveys, condition surveys & defect analysis) * Carry out design and specification work and assist with preparing tender information * Assist with administering building contracts * Undertake all aspects of professional surveying work (including Condition Surveys, Specific Defect Analysis, PW work, dilapidations, Access Audits & FRA's) * Liaise with Clients, Contractors & other consultants (internal and external) Requirements * BSc in Building Surveying or equivalent * At an advanced stage for the APC Final Assessment with RICS or CIOB, or recently qualified * 1 - 2 years' experience as a Building Surveyor * Ability to establish a good working relationship with Clients and colleagues * Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision * Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines * Good AutoCAD and/or REVIT skills * Good written & verbal communication skills * Full UK Driving Licence If you are interested in applying for this position and you meet the requirements, please send your updated CV to: Natalie Dalkin at Line Up Aviation Line Up Aviation is a specialist aviation and aerospace recruitment company that has been operating all over the world for more than 30 years.
