Site Manager - Church restoration Project

Job Title: Site Manager – External Refurbishment (Church) Location: South East London Contract Type: Freelance Start Date: ASAP Duration: Approx 6 months About the Role: We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the external refurbishment of a historic church in South East London. This is a live site with ongoing community use, so sensitivity to the setting and strong communication skills are essential. Scope of Works: * Roofing and rainwater goods repairs * Stonework and masonry restoration * Façade cleaning and repointing * Scaffold management and external access Key Responsibilities: * Day-to-day management of the site and subcontractors * Ensuring works are carried out to specification, safely and to schedule * Coordination with the client, consultants, and local stakeholders * Managing materials, logistics, and access * Maintaining health & safety compliance and site documentation * Quality control and progress reporting to the visiting contracts manager You must have a valid SMSTS, CSCS and FIRST AID
