Electrical Maintenance Technician

Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician with a keen eye for troubleshooting and preventative maintenance? We're looking for a motivated individual to join our clients team in Hoddesdon, supporting day-to-day plant operations and ensuring minimal downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Details:

Location - Hoddesdon

Pay - Up to 40,000

Contract - Temp to Perm, Full Time

Schedule - Monday to Friday

Pattern - Rotational Shift ( Early + Lates rotating )

Responsibilities

• Performing planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance
• Monitoring plant systems (including e-stop and fire systems)
• Fault-finding on electrical systems and PLCs (Allen Bradley/Siemens experience is a plus)
• Participating in equipment installations and removals
• Keeping maintenance records up to date using the Maintenance System
• Maintaining a clean and organized workshop

Requirements

• Apprenticeship-trained or time-served electrical technician
• Experience in electrical maintenance and installation
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Basic mechanical maintenance knowledge (desirable)
• Comfortable working at heights (MEWPs, ladders, etc.)
• Good IT skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)
