Salary: 96 - 104 per day (PAYE, paid weekly)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
Job Type: Temporary (Full Academic Year)

We are currently recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to work in a vibrant mainstream primary school in Southwark , starting in September 2025 . This full-time role offers the ideal opportunity for graduates looking to gain valuable school-based experience before pursuing a PGCE or a career in education.

You'll be joining a welcoming team and supporting teaching and learning across Early Years, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2. This is a fantastic chance to make a real impact on pupils' educational journeys while developing your own professional skills.

• Provide classroom support to teachers and pupils

• Deliver targeted interventions and one-to-one support

• Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation

• Support pupils with varying educational and emotional needs

• Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

• A degree (any discipline - education-related is a bonus)

• Passion for working with children in a school environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Previous experience with children (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential

• A proactive, patient, and positive approach

• Competitive daily rates from 96 to 104 (based on experience)

• Paid weekly on PAYE through our internal payroll team (no umbrella fees)
