Job Title: Regional Care Manager (Live In Care)

Salary: GBP30k - GBP32k DOE

Location: Home based but with extensive travel around the Kent area.

Are you an experienced Regional Care Manager within the health and social care sector looking for a change?

We are working with a leading provider of older peoples live in care services who are looking to add an experienced Regional Care Manager to their Kent team. The role is home based but with extensive travel around the Kent area, with most clients within a maximum 90 minute drive from your home base.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the operational management of a caseload of live-in clients in the Kent and surrounding areas, ensuring high standards of care are delivered at all times.
• Conduct regular reviews of care services in our client s home in line with company policy and regulatory requirements, ensuring care plans are up-to-date, and clients , their families and our carers have the support they need.
• Undertake regular audits within your packages of care to monitor quality and maintain high standards of care delivery, addressing any areas for improvement to ensure regulatory compliance
• Ensure all new carers are on-boarded effectively to their placements and are equipped with the skills and knowledge to provide the care needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, families, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure the needs and expectations of our clients are met.
• Engage in constant communications with clients and their families to ensure they are happy with the level of service provided.
• Undertake effective complaint handling in line with company policies and address and any client concerns, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction at all times.
• Work closely with the sales team on all new referrals, conducting new client assessments as needed, and provide families with all the support and information they need to make an informed choice.
• Develop detailed care plans and risk assessments that reflect a person s holistic needs and personalised outcome goals.
• Work with the head office team to identify and match the most appropriate care team to support your client s needs
• Promote the company s reputation within the community at all times, actively seeking opportunities for growth and partnerships with community care providers and other groups including GPs, community centres, charities, local businesses and so on.
• Provide strong supervision and management of all carers in your region, conducting regular performance reviews and ensuring they have the guidance, support, and resources needed to deliver exceptional care services.
• Work closely with the recruitment and HR team to recruit, train, and retain high-quality carers across the region.
• Ensure all staff within the region are up to date with mandatory training and have the skills necessary to deliver high standards of care.
• Carry out investigations and disciplinary procedures with carers as required.

Required Experience:

• Previous experience as a regional care manager within the care sector is required.
• A strong understanding of CQC regulations and reporting processes is essential.

• Salary from GBP30k - GBP32k DOE
• 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays rising to 25 days plus bank holidays after 2 years service.
