Hours: 39 hours per week | Salary: £36,000 + van, fuel card, and generous holidays

Hyde Housing is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to carry out repairs and maintenance across our residential properties. You’ll use your carpentry and plumbing expertise to provide a reliable first-time-fix service that keeps our customers satisfied.

🔧 What you’ll be doing:

• Delivering high-quality carpentry and plumbing repairs with some door hanging and tiling

• Operating in occupied homes across the CR and BR postcode areas

• Taking part in weekly toolbox talks every Monday (7:00 am start) at our Rochester depot

• Maintaining excellent communication and service standards

🧰 What you’ll need:

• Strong plumbing skills with basic carpentry (especially door hanging), or strong carpentry skills with basic plumbing (especially tiling)

• Ability to consistently complete first-time fixes

• Experience in domestic maintenance

• Your own set of tools – we’ll provide the rest
