We are seeking an experienced Lifting Supervisor / Appointed Person for a long-term, high-security government infrastructure project in Aldermaston. This is a dual-role opportunity for a qualified professional to oversee and manage all lifting operations on-site, working directly with our client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute lifting operations
  • Review lift plans and RAMS, ensuring all lifting activities are risk-assessed and properly coordinated
  • Supervise crane operators, slingers, and signallers to ensure safe lifting operations
  • Interpret and work from technical lifting drawings and site schematics
  • Liaise with site management and other stakeholders to deliver a safe and efficient lifting strategy

  • Demonstrable experience in a combined Lifting Supervisor and Appointed Person role
  • Strong technical understanding of lifting operations and industry regulations
  • Competency in reading and interpreting lifting drawings

Due to the sensitive nature of the site and the need to access classified drawings and operational areas, British nationality is required. This is a client-mandated requirement aligned with national security protocols and is not intended to discriminate in any form.

All candidates must also successfully pass a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check, which includes:

  • Right to work and identity verification
  • Basic criminal record (unspent convictions) check
  • Five-year employment history with references

What We Offer:

  • Long-term employment with stability (minimum two-year project)
  • Competitive and negotiable pay rates
  • Direct engagement with a leading client on a government-backed initiative
  • A key role within a secure, safety-first working environment

To Apply:
Please submit your CV, proof of Blue CPCS A61 and A62 tickets, and your availability. Only candidates who meet the essential requirements will be considered.
