Assembly Operative

All Square Recruitment are recruiting Assembly Operatives on behalf of an established and growing client based in Colchester, Essex. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals seeking long-term work with progression potential in a supportive and fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is a full time, temporary to permanent opportunity.

Assembly Operative - Role/Responsibilities:

• Reading technical drawings
• Working to specifications
• Assembling parts using hand and power tools
• Working with others to create an efficient production process
• Manual handling - Some heavy lifting involved
• Full training and induction
• Working in a manner to ensure the safety of others at all times

What We re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a similar assembly or production role (preferred)
• Confidence using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Punctual, reliable, and motivated to learn
• Flexibility to work different shifts as needed

Assembly Operative Shift details

Monday to Friday (Weekday and Saturday Overtime available - Up to GBP18.78 per hour!)

7am till 3:30pm (Early and Late shifts may be available)

GBP12.53 to GBP14.53 per hour PAYE
