Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Our Client are a £500million turnover main contractor specialising in new build projects across the UK with over 500 employees now contributing to their year on year growth. They have recently been awarded a 500 unit residential new build project over 14 storeys, with a Commercial Manager and Senior Quantity Surveyor working on the scheme you will be supporting them both on this flagship project running for the next 2.5 years. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in managing the project’s financial aspects, including cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting. * Collaborate with senior surveyors to monitor project costs and ensure financial efficiency. * Support the procurement process, including tendering and contract administration. * Assist in the preparation and evaluation of cost plans and reports. * Work closely with the project team to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and timelines.​ Qualifications & Experience: * Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field. * Some experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry is advantageous. * Familiarity with construction contracts and procurement processes. * Strong analytical and numerical skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.​ What We Offer: * Competitive salary of £45,000 per annum. * Comprehensive benefits package. * Opportunity to work on a high-profile project in the heart of London. * Professional development and career progression opportunities
