Our client is a well established and successful manufacturer with customers worldwide. They are looking for an experienced Panel Wirer / Electrical Assembler to join their team.
They are looking for people with an Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds), or have done a time served apprenticeship. This company offers a varied and interesting role, with extensive employee benefits and in-house training.

You have a minimum of C&G or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations.

Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical assembly drawings.

Experience with wiring special purpose machines / machinery / appliances.

Be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
OTHER DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:

Previous experience within an industrial background is ideal.

Site installation and accreditation to 18th Edition wiring regulations would be advantageous.

Previous experience of leading a team in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous but not essential.
Salary:
Up to GBP17.50 per hour (depending on experience) + GBP2,500 bonus + Excellent Benefits
Hours of work - Rotating weekly shifts:

38 hours - 4 day week, Monday to Thursday / Tuesday to Friday

37.5 Hours per week - Monday to Thursday, 8.00am 4.45 pm, Friday 8.00am - 12.30 pm (Early finish on a Friday)
Location: West of Sheffield, easily reached from Sheffield centre via train or public transport if no car.
Responsibilities:

Installing and wiring all electrical components/panels from electrical schematics.

Basic electrical test and inspection.

Liaise with in-house personnel as required to resolve build and design issues.

Basic Mechanical assembly using technical drawings.
