Position: Legal Secretary / Paralegal (Property) Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid working available) Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 DOE Are you an experienced Legal Secretary or Paralegal with experience in property? What you’ll be doing: Preparing, formatting, and updating legal documentation and correspondence with precision Supporting the full property transaction process – from initial searches and registrations to liaising with clients and external parties Managing client and matter onboarding/offboarding, including AML and conflict checks Organising team diaries, scheduling meetings, and arranging travel when required Assisting with billing, invoicing, and other financial admin tasks Keeping both digital and physical files organised, scanned, and up-to-date Acting as a first point of contact for clients, providing updates and handling enquiries with professionalism About you: Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Paralegal, ideally within a property or conveyancing setting Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask Confident communicator, both in writing and over the phone Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with legal case management systems Knowledge of property processes, including Land Registry and SDLT, is highly advantageous Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to support wherever needed What’s in it for you: Competitive salary reflective of your experience Flexible working arrangements Generous annual leave plus additional time off for long service Pension scheme and financial benefits Ongoing training and support for career development A supportive, inclusive and collaborative working culture
