Metal Fabricator

Role Overview You will be responsible for producing high-quality 2D and 3D CAD drawings, working on a variety of fabrication and structural projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in fabrication, steel structures, and mechanical engineering. Key Duties: * Create detailed 2D technical drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Inventor software. * Work closely with engineers and designers to develop mechanical and structural components. * Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, tolerances, and fabrication requirements. * Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and maintain accurate project documentation. * Assist in design modifications, clash detection, and problem-solving during the development phase. * Collaborate with manufacturing teams, engineers, and clients to ensure designs meet project specifications. What we are looking for in the successful candidate: * Proven experience as a Draughtsperson with a mechanical and structural bias. * Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD and Inventor). * Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, welding, and steelwork structures. * Understanding of mechanical and structural design principles. * Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation. * Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines. * Strong communication skills to liaise with engineers, production teams, and clients
