Mechanical Process Engineer

Endeavour Recruitment has a contract opportunity for a Principal Mechanical Process Engineer to join a leading client based in Plymouth. Sole British Nationals Can start on BPSS – will need SC On site once every 6-8 weeks Duties: * Plant development background - ideally nuclear / oil and gas * More Mechanical than process but with experience of the process side of things * ISO drawings, stress calculations / verifications * Support Drawings * Team leadership experience Essential * 6-8+ years’ experience of designing a mechanical services / process system. * Experience of working in a highly regulated industry, strong preference to nuclear. * Understanding of hydraulic / pressure calculations. * Understanding of hazard identification and analysis associated with process systems (e.g. HAZID, HAZOP etc) * BEng/BSc in mechanical engineering or similar degree. * Experience checking design documentation. * Line management experience of 3+ direct reports. Highly Desirable * SC already * Masters’ education * CEng or working towards * Understanding of IEC 61511 Please get in touch for further details
