Interim Secondary Headteacher   North East England - Interim – Local Authority   3-6 Month Contract (1 Term with possibility to extend)   £(Apply online only) per day DOE Interim Secondary Headteacher     We are working alongside a School based in the Northeast who are seeking a secondary Headteacher within a Community College. The purpose of the role is to oversee and manage the college across Year 7 to 13 and to be responsible for the standards and delivery of the learning outcomes to strengthen and improve their offering. To lead this school, you will hold experience of working within special measure and be able to work as a “critical friend” to make significant improvement across operations. You will ensure improved outcomes for the child and their family that are measurable and monitored, enabling the child to achieve and reach their aspirations. Main Responsibilities Establish and sustain the school’s ethos and strategic direction together with the governing board and through consultation with the school community. Establish and oversee systems, processes, and policies so the school can operate effectively. Identify problems and barriers to school effectiveness, and develop strategies for school improvement that are realistic, timely and suited to the school’s context. Make sure these school improvement strategies are effectively implemented. Monitor progress towards achieving the school’s aims and objectives.
