Production Engineer Location: Loughborough Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer eager to become part of our Production team? Are you looking to take a more active role in investigating and resolving manufacturing issues while also enhancing manufacturing processes? Overview of the Role: * Develop prototypes for new designs, overseeing component procurement, assembly, and testing. * Provide support to the production team by offering design documentation. * Drive improvements in manufacturing processes to enhance quality, reduce lead time, and cut costs. * Offer technical support in resolving process-related challenges. * Implement corrective and preventive actions as necessary. Key Skills Required: * Strong understanding of Engineering Materials. * Familiarity with mechanical manufacturing processes. * Proficient in using CAD software for designing precision assemblies. * Excellent problem-solving skills and a systematic approach.
