Our automotive OEM Client based in Dunton, Basildon in the United Kingdom are searching for a Data Analyst to join their innovative design and engineering team. This position is confirmed as GBP20.27 per hour initially rising to GBP24.78 per hour after 12 weeks. This position is inside IR35 and therefore will be subject to full PAYE tax. Details of this can be provided on request.

This is a 12-month contract, but renewal will be on 31st December 2024.

Key Responsibilities

• CV Lead for WLTP emissions and Homologation issues.
• Data Requirement Clarification, market liaison.
• Quality check, data verification.
• Brand team lead for COFEC and eCO2 requirements feed into IT; weight data requirements (eCO2 = min/max ranges per entity CO2).
• CV Lead on OSIRIS and FVA Osiris forum (emissions/homologation/IT data issues resolution)
• CV eCommerce & Marketplace support.
• Ad hoc European regulations CV interface: Tyre labelling, Seat belt minder, taxonomy etc.
• Ad hoc Marketing support for vehicle specifications.

Skills Required

• Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail and ability to analyse and interpret complex datasets.
• Excellent PC skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Resilience and strong desire to deliver results.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong automotive background.

Experience Required

• WLTP/Homologation analysis.
• Commercial Vehicle Experience, desirable.

Education Required

• Degree level or equivalent.
