Position: Voids Supervisor

Location: Manchester

Duration: 6-9 months

Salary: up to GBP45k

This is an exciting opportunity for a Voids Supervisor to work with one of the UK s largest housing providers, they offer more than 28000 homes, ranging from affordable social housing through to private rent across the North West of England. They are a registered social landlord helping people at every stage of life to live in quality homes they can afford.

The Role

• Responsible for the delivery of void maintenance
• Managing a team of operatives
• Scheduling operatives
• Tracking and following up on projects
• Responsible for the delivery of performance and budgets
• Maintain a high level of Health and Safety at all times

Qualifications and experience

• Experience in a management position is essential
• Knowledge of the importance of equality and diversity within the delivery of housing services
• Proven ability to present information or concepts that are relevant to the audience
• Able to demonstrate an effective approach to delivery and customer care
• Good knowledge of literacy and numeracy
• Ability to build relationships in a team and individually in order to gain trust of external partners
• Able to work effectively with other managers
• Knowledge of contract management, Health and Safety legislations and landlord and tenant legislations
• Experience using Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Valid SMSTS, CSCS, NEBOSH required
• UK Valid Driving License
