Upholsterer

BNJ Consultants is an employment business that provides Upholstery Personnel around the UK. We have a great opportunity for Upholsterers in Uddingston, Glasgow.

Successful candidates will be offered full-time shifts on a permanent basis.

Starting Salary : 15.55ph / 31.535 per annum - 39 hours/week

Contract Period: Permanent

Holidays: 25 days plus Bank Holidays.

Working hours : Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:30 Friday 08:00-15:30

Breaks: 30 mins lunch break and another 15min

Products: Bespoke seating and furniture (sofas, chaises), fabrics and leathers will be used.

Duties:

• Attach finishes, including buttons (deep button), trim and other decorative accessories, to complete orders according to specifications.
• Measure and cut fabric pieces with the aid of patterns or stencils and industrial cutting tools to precise sizes and dimensions.
• Upholstering from start-to-finish complex work & huge pieces.

Ideal Upholsterer Candidate:

• Attention to detail & passionate.
• A minimum of 3 year experience gained within the industry working on bespoke furniture.
