Owned by Russell Building Products Ltd, the Company has over 130 years industry experience of manufacturing an extensive range of innovative concrete roof tiles and fittings which are suitable for both commercial and housing projects. Our clients include all the major national house builders. As part of our current £18.5m investment we are installing a new state-of-the-art production line to help grow our business and support our sustainability pledge.

The Opportunity
We are now looking to recruit 5 caliber Production Operatives to join us. This is't just a job, it's a chance to shape a long-term satisfying career. We’re looking for operatives who can demonstrate a good work ethic, reliability, commitment and an aptitude for the job, to work across our manufacturing operations at our Burton on Trent site.

The role is on a permanent contract, working 12 hours shifts; 6am-6pm/6pm-6am on a 3-week rotating shift pattern that will include set days, nights and weekends, 48hr week. Immediate starts are available.

The Candidate
You have a passion for making things happen. You have achieved/are predicted to achieve grade 5-9/A-C in Maths/English/Science. You have good understanding of English language both written and spoken. You’ll be a
reliable addition to the team, a conscientious timekeeper and someone who’s driven and committed to seeing things through. You’ll be a resilient team player with acute attention to detail and the motivation for continuous improvement and success. Attitude and willingness to learn are as important as experience.

Your key duties will include but not limited to:

• Adherence to Company Health & Safety working practices and legislative regulations.
• Working to high quality standards and within set tolerances
• Set up and operation of machinery.
• Contribution to the consistent delivery of production targets and budgeted operational performance
