Madisons Recruitment are looking for an Estimator on a permanent basis located in Epping. As a Construction Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the pre-construction phase, contributing to the continued success. Responsibilities Project Cost Estimation: Accurately estimate project costs by reviewing project specifications, blueprints, and other relevant documentation. Material and Labor Analysis: Identify cost-effective materials and labour resources, ensuring that each project adheres to local regulations and industry standards. Bid Preparation: Prepare comprehensive and competitive bid proposals, aligning with project scope, schedule, and budget. Cost Analysis: Continuously analyse project costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities and advising project teams. Risk Assessment: Evaluate potential risks affecting project costs and suggest strategies to mitigate these risks. Project Documentation: Maintain organised and accurate records of estimates, contracts, change orders, and other essential project documentation. Requirements Previous experience working for a Main Contractor. 3 (+) years’ experience as an Estimator / QS. Self sufficient and able to work independently.
