Electrical Design Engineer

The below job description will outline this position of: Electrical design Engineer Typically, this person will be a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to assist our client who works within the marine industry. You will be required to working on electrical drawings and using AutoCAD. HSB Technical’s client is a very established and well-regarded business entity. Duties and responsibilities of the Electrical design Engineer: • Draughting all electrical drawings to an excellent standard • To make sure all drawings meet class requirements • Assembling and organising information for the Electrical Manager • Create electrical wiring schedules • Produce data lists for the setup and commission of each vessel • Ensuring compliance with the relevant ISO/IEC standards • Collating information for the "as built" drawing packs • Design marine electrical circuits to accommodate optional extras to each vessel • Basic knowledge and understanding of mechanical systems Qualifications and requirement for the Electrical design Engineer: • NVQ, HND or degree qualification in electrical engineer or related discipline is essential • Skilled in AutoCAD or other suitable 2D drafting software • Experience in the commercial industry • Skilled in excel • Strong understanding of HV, electrical circuits, cabinet design • Able to manage your own time to hit deadlines This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical who have been appointed to act as the recruitment consultancy for this role
