Quality Assurance Technician

Quality Assurance Technician (6 Month Fixed Term Contract) £14.29 per hour Monday to Friday - 8am to 4pm Leeds, LS26 Concept Recruitment are delighted to be working with our food manufacturing client based in Leeds to recruit a Quality Assurance Technician on a 6 month fixed term contract. It is essential that applicants have Quality Assurance experience within the food industry along with knowledge and experience of food safety, quality issues and auditing within a food manufacturing environment. As the Quality Assurance Technician you will drive a quality culture on site by being the first point of contact for all factory quality activities through the auditing process from intake, through to finished goods whilst supporting and coaching managers and operatives in food safety and quality standards. Skill Requirements: * Experience in food industry is essential * Food production experience * Knowledge and experience of food safety, quality issues and auditing within a food manufacturing environment * Experience in root cause analysis and preventative action implementation * A team player who support others to ensure that work deadlines are achieved * The ability to be flexible and adapt well to changing work demands * A confident and articulate communicator * Well organised and able to meet deadlines * Excellent PC skills; ideally Microsoft Office This is a full time position working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm with half an hour for lunch.
