Multi Skilled Site Services Engineer

Questech are recruiting on behalf of our client in York for a: Contract - Multi Skilled Site Services Engineer. The Person: * NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a Electrical or multi-skilled discipline with corresponding practical experience * Continuous improvement experience * Must be a team player with a strong sense of personal responsibility / ownership. * Must have Electrical and Mechanical Experience * Must have previous Site Services experience within a factory environment which include the lighting, door systems, fabrication, * You must be available to start Immediately The Role: * In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the site services equipment and completing electrical & Mechanical repairs across site. * Planned, Preventative Maintenance * Recommend improvements to maintenance schedules; carry out safety checks on equipment in line with legislation and best practice. * Overhaul and repair of plant; continually monitor plant conditions and report defects. * Ensure operational key information is effectively communicated to colleagues and other shift teams; complete any relevant documentation * Elevate your engineering career with a rewarding contract as a Site Services Engineer, where expertise in both electrical and mechanical disciplines would be essential. * This role promises a competitive remuneration of £35 per hour. * The position boasts a favourable Monday to Friday schedule, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. * The successful candidate will engage in a diverse range of responsibilities, including the maintenance of plant and building. * Your days will be filled with activities ranging from lighting systems to door mechanisms, from intricate fabrication work to essential repairs. * This role requires a hands-on approach to maintain the seamless functionality of the site's facilities. * The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of plant and building maintenance, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of workmanship. * Candidates must bring to the table a blend of technical acumen and practical experience, underpinned by relevant qualifications. * A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and the ability to work autonomously are key traits that will contribute to your success in this role.
