Estimator

We are currently working on behalf of an established Facade / Drylining contractor based out of Lincolnshire. They are looking to expand their team with an experienced QS/ Estimator, based out of Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have experience working for subcontractors previously, whether it be in facade, SFS, Brickslip, Cladding, Drylining or Internals. They are looking for a person who has a great attention to detail, good attitude, and is really invested in the projects. Typical project values range from £1million - £6million in terms of packages. You will be based out of the Lincoln office, with flexibility in terms of working remotely. Salary subject to experience. The role of the Estimator will involve: * Reviewing tender enquiries and specifications to gain an understanding of project requirements * Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information required * Liaise with suppliers and manufactures to obtain competitive prices * Producing formal quotations to clients * Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database * Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors * Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met * Estimating for projects ranging in value from £1m to 6m The ideal applicant will be Estimator * Must have estimating experience within drylining / interiors or cladding / facade sector * Must have a good understanding of technical drawings * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal * High levels of organisation and attention to detail * Enthusiastic, team player, who works well individually also If this would be of interest to you, please get in touch with Heather Duncan
