Design Engineer

Benefits: Salary - £28,000 to £37,000 per annum. 33 Days Holiday (Inclusive of Bank Holidays) Hours of work - Monday to Thursday - 08:00am to 16:30pm - Friday - 12:30pm finish Annual Christmas function. Social events 34.5hrs per week Free Parking Employee Health Plan Pension Auto-enrolment schemeRole & Responsibilities: Attend design meetings with clients and Project Managers to understand their requirements. Providing CAD support to projects including managing, preparing, and reviewing CAD layouts, drawings, and 3D models. Resolving issues arising from design and commissioning activities Complete structural calculations on projects. Complete fabrication drawings in line with the project specifications. Adhere to BS EN 1090 standards. Ensure all Health & Safety, Risk Assessments, quality policies and procedures are adhered to throughout the design process. Required Skills & Experience: Degree in Engineering or a relevant subject. High level of attention to detail. (Not essential) Experience within the Automotive or FMCG sectors. Strong individual with exceptional organisation skills. Experience in Engineering and project delivery. Understanding of relevant engineering standards.
