Commercial Refrigeration Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY As a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for service and maintenance of industrial and refrigeration equipment and occasionally carrying out installations. Reporting directly to the General Service Manager. A background in working on commercial catering equipment would be an advantage. • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * • Required to maintain, repair, install & commission commercial refrigeration equipment, such as walk in’s, display chillers, bottle fridges, ice machine’s etc. • Test and undertake quality assurance checks to verify that the commercial refrigeration equipment is working in accordance with its design specification and current F-Gas regulations. • Diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving faults, and organising repairs as required. • You would be responsible for ensuring all part numbers align with the parts required on any given job. • Other responsibilities will include periodic checks including electricity safety checks (Training will be provided if required) • Responsible for completing manual and electronic job sheets upon conclusion of site visit. • Regular communication to be maintained with service coordinators. • Responsible for maintaining, and checking van stock. • REQUIRED EXPERIENCE * • 2-5 years commercial refrigeration experience in refrigeration equipment, industrial/refrigeration equipment or similar highly desirable • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to fault find and solve complex problems • Strong organisation skills, ability to prioritise and multi- task effectively. • ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / LICENCES / REQUIREMENTS * • Full UK driving licence • Hold or be able to hold CRB/DDC clearance • Electrical qualifications • Qualified and registered engineer with Refcom • Ability to work flexible and unsociable hours occasionally • BENEFITS PACKAGE * • Company Vehicle(private use permitted), Mobile Phone & Tablet • Annual leave: 25 days + usual bank holidays • Company Pension Scheme & Company Profit Dividend Share
