Rigger

Riggers are required for jobbing contract work in & around the Glasgow region for a plant installation company. The role is Temporary to permanent, with a job being offered by the client after an initial 12 week period. All applicants must have a valid CSCS card or Safety Passport. Any other training certs such as : FLT CB, IPAF & Slinger/Signaller are desirable, but not essential. Candidates must have proven on site Rigging experience in the plant installation/machine moving industry. A good working knowledge of Mechanical Fitting is also required. If offered a permanent role, below is a very basic idea of the full time terms (open to negotiation): Hourly pay rate: £15.63 Riggers - £16.73 with Fitting ability and £17.71 per hour Foreman – dependant on experience. Travel is paid as working time – 40 miles per hour on autoroute from the Bellshill office. Time plus half after 8 up to 12 Monday – Friday then double time Saturday guaranteed 8 – 4 at time plus half 4 at double Sunday guaranteed 8 at double time Nightshift 1 at double plus laydown – consec nights at time plus third. Working away guaranteed 12 hours (8 at time 4 at time plus half) Accommodation paid plus £20 meal allowance per day Death in service after completion of probation at 3 x basic salary 1% of company profit bonus paid annually Monthly awards through Panda for good customer feedback etc. Pension is the government minimum of 5% Holidays are 24 days annual leave and 8 bank holidays – all paid at time plus 1/3 Please DO NOT apply for this vacancy, if you are not looking for a full time position
