Computer Science Teacher


Milk Education are collaborating with a Secondary School in Enfliend who are seeking an outstanding practitioner with excellent subject knowledge and communication skills to join our successful Computer science department to teach both Computer science and IT. Computer science is a popular subject in the school and achieves some of the best student outcomes. Computer science is increasingly popular at A Level. We want a reflective practitioner and somebody who is able to build on their strengths in teaching Computer science and IT as the department strives to act as a beacon of excellence in the Trust. You will be supported by a fully staffed department who know and understand the school and will ensure that the journey to Outstanding is a collaborative one. The school has excellent transport links along with on-site parking on site and are also very well-connected by local bus routes. Responsibilities: * Deliver engaging and informative lessons in line with the national curriculum for Computer Science. * Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and innovation. * Plan, prepare, and assess student work to ensure high standards of achievement. * Stay current with the latest technological developments and integrate them into the curriculum. * Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school-wide events. Requirements: * A degree in Computer Science or a related field. * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. * Experience in teaching Computer Science at the secondary level. * Strong understanding of programming languages, computer systems, and software development. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
