Accounts Administrator


Accounts Administrator Plymouth Permanent – Fulltime Sphere is currently recruiting an experienced Accounts Administrator on behalf of our client, a reputable regional contractor, to join their busy accounts team based in Plymouth. As the Accounts Administrator, you will be detail-oriented and organised and be responsible for managing financial transactions, generating reports, and assisting with general accounting tasks to support the business. Key Responsibilities include: * Answering and transferring phone calls, managing emails, welcoming visitors, * Inputting data in CRM system, clerical tasks, maintaining filing systems, resolving administrative issues, * Preparing documents, collating timesheets, maintaining office calendars, * Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors, scheduling meetings and travel arrangements, * Managing personnel files and HR documentation, * Recording meeting minutes, handling correspondence, * Managing office supplies, coordinating maintenance of office equipment, * Using QuickBooks for accounts management, invoicing and handling bank reconciliation tasks. * Any other ad-hoc admin/accounts duties Key Requirements * Previous experience working in a similar accounts/administration role (essential) * Construction industry knowledge i.e. CIS payments etc. (advantageous) * Proficient with the use of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word and Excell * Working experience using QuickBooks for account management * Excellent communicator both written and verbal * Organised and methodical with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
