Mechanical Fitter

We are currently recruiting for time served mechanical fitters within the M17 area. Successful candidates will be responsible for the assembly of scientific instrumentation, integrating components to construct complex scientific instrumentation. Key Responsibilities * Build & Assembly of parts and assemblies to drawing standards * Verification of parts against the appropriate drawings and/or standards which apply * The correct use of tools and processes * To adhere to product specific procedures and completing quality records * To raise NCR/DCR for problem and failure reporting, suggesting and implementing improvements where appropriate Experience * time served mechanical fitter within machine build or equivalent experience/qualification * able to identify problems on assembly * excellent communication skills * must be proficient in PC skills * mechanical engineering background E.G - apprentice trained or equivalent Hours * Monday - Thursday 8:00am/4:15pm * Friday - 8:00am/3:30pm Rate * £16.00 per hour basic * £20.00 - Weekday Overtime * £24.00 - Weekend Overtime
