Service Engineer

Job Title: Service Engineer Location: Smethwick Contact: Permanent Salary: £28-£46k dependant on experience Working days/Hours: Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 4pm / Friday 7.30am – 2pm (Over time available at time and a half) We are currently recruiting for Mobile Service Engineer’s for our client based in Smethwick. As a Service Engineer you will be responsible for meeting the service maintenance and repair needs of the company Forklifts onsite, at the customer’s premises. This role will require the Service Engineer to travel throughout the UK. Duties and Responsibilities of the Service Engineer: * Conduct on-site maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of forklifts at customer locations. * To perform preventive maintenance tasks according to scheduled maintenance plans * Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and other documentation accurately and promptly * Communicate effectively with customers to understand their service needs and provide exceptional customer service. * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and effective coordination of service activities. * Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
