Senior Estimator

Job Title: Senior Estimator Location: Berkshire Package: £90,000 - £95,000 plus car allowance and bonus Skilled Careers are working with a Tier One Main Contractor who are now looking for a Senior Estimator to head up a division and work within a variety of different sectors. The sectors that you would be involved in would be Education, Leisure, Data Centres and Residential with projects valued up to £80m. For the new Senior Estimator, the plan is to build a team underneath yourself where you will be heading up the team. Duties The lead Estimator on a variety of different sectors and projects valued up to £80m. Eventually you will be building an Estimating team, and you will be shaping the estimating department. Ensuring that relevant documents and budgets are submitted before a bid deadline. Regularly reporting to Directors and keeping clients updated on the project status. Formulating contingency plans and effectively managing risks that might impact cost and time estimates. Keeping track of the latest estimating technology and industry-related techniques. Requirements Experience working for a Main Contractor. Is an expert in Conquest. Ideally has worked in a variety of different sectors. What is in it for you? £90,000 - £95,000 per annum.
