Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and collaborative Durability and Robustness Vehicle Test Engineer to join our client's team in Gaydon. This contract Durability and Robustness Vehicle Test Engineer role offers a umbrella pay rate of GBP25.96 per hour (Inside IR35).

As a Durability and Robustness Vehicle Test Engineer , you will interface between Programme Leads and several vehicle and rig test delivery functions. The focus of this role is to integrate vehicle test activities into the vehicle programmes, ensuring validation testing is completed to plan and to the required quality. You'll occasionally require travel to other UK manufacturing and development sites as well as Proving Ground facilities.

During your first few weeks in this Durability and Robustness Vehicle Test Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Direct the preparation and de-preparation of test properties, manage vehicle updates and test spares, test property signoff, post-test inspection, and non-destructive testing
• Manage in-test vehicle and rig test issues, coordinating engineering support for technical issues and seeking prompt solutions to minimise test downtime
• Support the delivery of data from tests that are validation events for design release activity or technology advancement.
