Buyer – Chesterfield - Competitive Salary  Chase & Holland are excited to be working with an exciting and globally recognised business based in Chesterfield, who are looking for a self-motivated  Buyer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a market leading company and be a part of the exciting projects happening within the new product team. You will report into the Procurement and Product Manager whilst working closely with other departmental managers and focus groups to research and source new and innovative products, analyse trends and evaluate supplier performance to ensure every product meets the companies’ standards. In Return You’ll Receive: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Death in service (3 x salary) Pension Free onsite parking Free staff refreshmentsBuyer Responsibilities: Through effective communication and supplier visits you will be maintaining strong relationships with suppliers Monitoring the effectiveness of the supply chain along with managing stock levels and daily product returns Ordering of consumables and products to assist production Updating the ERP system with the correct information ensuring it is correct at all times Monitor and evaluate supplier performance i.e. quality, pricing, and delivery Ensure all orders are received on time by following the purchase order process Attend exhibitions and trade shows when requiredRequired Skills & Experience: Previous experience within a similar role required Strong communication and negotiation skills A clear ability to make decisions when choosing new products Accurate data entry skills Able to work in a high-pressured environmentIf you are interested in finding out about this exciting Buyer opportunity, please click ‘apply now’.
