Position Overview: Our client is seeking a skilled Line Leader / Production Team Leader to join their dynamic team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The Line Leader / Production Team Leader will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of production lines, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of production staff to achieve targets efficiently. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise and coordinate activities on the production line to meet production schedules and quality standards. * Lead and motivate a team of production workers, providing guidance and support to optimize performance. * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. * Monitor production processes, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and waste. * Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to uphold product quality and consistency. * Collaborate with other departments to streamline production processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives. * Train new employees on production procedures and ensure adherence to established protocols. * Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, downtime, and quality metrics. Qualifications: * Previous experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry is highly desirable. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with team members and other departments. * Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality management systems. * Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to address challenges. * Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality. * Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as required.
