Snr Electrical Project Manager

We have a great opportunity to work with a leading MEP contractor on an iconic buidling being refurbished in Kings Cross. The business turnover in excess of £250 Million and offer a very good working culture and have an excellent track record for staff retention. The position: The position is for a Senior Electrical Project Manager to work on a large refurb, upgrading the shell and core / Infrastructure package on an exisiting building which will be used as Offices and Lab space after. The MEP Value is circa £25 Million and Electrical alone in excess of £10 Million. As Electrical Project Manager duties will include: • Tender review and validation • Design Review liaising with consultants, client and main contractor • Procurement of major plant and subcontractors • Programming of works using MS Project / Asta • Oversea all trade contractors • Leading the project from a commercial aspect, overseeing profitability and reporting finically to contracts manager • Chairing meetings internally and externally • Management of commissioning stages and project handover to the client The candidate will have experience managing large electrical packages and have demonstrated the ability to deliver contracts on time and to the clients satisfaction. HNC or a degree qualification is desired but not essential. We are also open to considering candidates that have worked as a Senior Engineer and are ready to take a step up to project lead. This without saying would offer support initially and the opportunity to be mentored by a well seasoned and experienced PM.
